How to root Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 : One Click Root

A year ago Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 was announced with an awesome hardware and latest features, still this device is able to attract people. As we all know that Samsung has most number Android device including smartphones and tablets. Galaxy Tab 2 is slim and fast with attractive design powered by 1 GHz processor and 1 GB RAM. It comes with two different model P5100 and P5110.

Here in this tutorial I am going to show you how to root Samsung Galaxy tab 2 using simple steps. If you want to customize your device, your device must be rooted, also when you go for any custom ROM installation, rooting is must required. I have already posted an article regarding Galaxy tab 2 upgrade to Kitkat 4.4.2, so if you are looking to flash a new custom ROM on your device then you can follow this procedure.

Rooting requirements

  • Charge your galaxy tab 2 up to 70% to avoid interruption.
  • Install kies or proper USB drivers on your computer so that it can detect your device easily.
  • Its mandatory to create a complete backup of your tab’s personal data.
  • Enable USB debugging mode on your device.
  • Download OneClickRoot

How to root Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 : One Click Root

  1. Download the mentioned file on your computer and extract that on to your desktop.
  2. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
  3. Now from that folder launch the One_click _Root application.
  4. It will automatically detect your device, now click on Root button to begin the process.
  5. Wait for the process to complete, it generally takes 2-3 minutes to complete the whole process.
  6. After doing everything disconnect your device from your computer and reboot simply.
